I assumed that over time we would all just move on and try and forgive and forget about what had happened, and be mature enough to just be civil towards one another. But clearly that is not the case, I'm sorry for commenting on that picture, there was no harsh intention by it whatsoever but if that's the way it was perceived then, well fine. Months have passed and we have all changed and moved on, and it's time to either repair what had happened and make amends or to literally just move on completely and sever all ties basically. And after the fiasco last night I am choosing the latter. Being publicly talked about and ridiculed through facebook is not something that I would consider a high road by any means, but that's okay! After being deleted I decided to just delete and block the rest of you just so I wouldn't have to see what you were saying about me. And I'm sorry if that hurt anyone's feelings but it just had to happen for my own sake. Losing a good friend isn't something anyone wants to do but it might just be the only way to receive peace of mind sometimes.
So here are some of the things I have found while thinking about this...
A spirit of forgiveness—an attitude of love toward those who have wronged us—is the very essence of the gospel.
I, the Lord, will forgive whom I will forgive, but of you it is required to forgive all men. D&C 64:10
“With malice toward none, with charity for all, … let us … bind up the … wounds.” - Abraham Lincoln
“My beloved brothers and sisters, fear not. Be of good cheer. The future is as bright as your faith.”- Thomas S. Monson
I'm sorry if you thought I was trying to be mean, but I truly wasn't. I didn't think commenting on that picture would spark all of this. I just don't want to hear any of it anymore.
